The North American edition of the world's toughest downhill MTB race series, held at Cypress Mountain on Vancouver's North Shore. The invitation-only course was designed by the Atherton brothers in collaboration with Canadian pros Jackson Goldstone and Gracey Hemstreet, incorporating massive gaps, steep drops exceeding 10 metres, and BMX-style features not permitted in UCI World Cup racing. The natural amphitheatre terrain of Cypress Mountain provides dramatic on-mountain spectating across the steep, technical descent.
