Woodland and open moor five miles north of Rothbury, and one of Northumberland's best-known natural riding areas. There are no officially sanctioned or waymarked trails, but mountain bikers are welcome and there is an extensive network of around 19 rider-built descents running off the crags and through the forestry. Free parking at the Forestry England car park; no facilities on site.
