Hillend Bike Park (Midlothian Snowsports Centre)

Lift-served downhill riding on the Pentland Hills at Midlothian Snowsports Centre, on the southern edge of Edinburgh. A 600m purpose-built descent is served by the centre's two-person chairlift, making it one of very few chairlift-assisted gravity venues in central Scotland and an easy after-work option from the city. Cafe, toilets and parking on site alongside Europe's second-longest dry ski slope and the alpine coaster.
