High Burnside Trails (Aviemore)

Tight, steep, rooty woodland singletrack above Aviemore, maintained by the Badenoch and Strathspey Trail Association at monthly dig days. Runs from the Wolf Cub green through the Skull Trail red to black lines like Christ Almighty and T.H.R., plus the newly sanctioned Fluffy Gobbler blue; most of the network is unsanctioned. Capercaillie habitat, so stay on marked trails and take extra care April to mid-August. Street parking off Old Meall Road or the Sender Bike Park fishery car park.
