Forestry and Land Scotland woodland on the western edge of Aberdeen and one of the city's most popular riding spots, with an extensive network of well-used singletrack from smooth and flowing to short technical descents. A firm gravel base runs throughout with rockier, rootier and muddier sections, long moderate slopes and some short steep ramps, and trails can be linked with neighbouring Foggieton for longer loops. Free car park; Kirkhill's tighter, more technical trails are a few miles north.
