Tranquil Forestry and Land Scotland forest within the Tweed Valley Forest Park, draping the south side of the Tweed 3.5 miles east of Peebles. A network of well-maintained forest roads linked by trails offers great cross-country and family riding through mature spruce, larch and Scots pine, with the historic Cardrona Tower ruin and Castle Knowe Iron Age fort along the way. Quieter alternative to Glentress and Innerleithen.
