Abriachan Forest (Kelpies Trails)

Community forest trail centre high above Loch Ness, run by the Abriachan Forest Trust. Known as the Kelpies' Trails, it offers a 3km green, a 7km blue and a 4km red, all revamped in 2023, plus a jump park with eight tabletops, bermed corners and gap jumps, and a pump track by the car park. Because the access road climbs so steeply, the riding starts high on the hill with big views over the loch. Family friendly with a slightly homemade, informal character.
